The Chief Minister also took strict notice of non-completion of the road from Burki to the site of the Aashiyana Iqbal and reprimanded the concerned officers. He said that officers showing carelessness towards public-welfare projects have no right to stay on their posts and no such officer would be tolerated in Punjab.

He said that besides provincial metropolis, work is also being carried out speedily on Aashiyana Housing Schemes in Sahiwal, Faisalabad and other big cities of Punjab.  He said that residential facilities of the rich have been provided in Ayshiyana Housing Schemes. He said that Aashiyana Housing Project is the best example of utilization of public money on the welfare of the masses and every penny of funds is being spent in a transparent manner.

The said project is very good to help needy and common people but it is surprised that since 2012 there is no work at site, therefore, CM would task in hand personally otherwise the said project will be completed in files but on ground there will be nothing. My native town is there and on each weekend i go there, therefore, i am eye witness that there is any progress on ground or not. Pakistan Zindabad.
