Invitation to Local & International Contractors for Pre-qualification of Building Works

Creek Developers (Pvt.) Limited (CDPL) are undertaking a mega-scale mixed-use development – Creek View & Terraces In DI1A, Phase-‘VIII, Karachi. This high-end dev elopment spanning over an area of about 43 acres comprises high-rise to mid-rise residential towers, office towers and a retail component supported with high-quality infrastructure, ample car parking and recreational facilities. The Project Concept has been done by internationally renowned architects, W’S Atkins pic. England.

With the successful initiation of Piling Works on the first phase of the project at site. CDPL now intends to also commence the bidding process for super-structure and main building works. For this purpose, CDPL invites reputable local and International Ruilding Works Contractors to participale in ihe bidding process. Established Contracting Firms/ Consortia/ Joint Ventures having proven track records of successfully completed similar high/mid-rise building projects are encouraged to submit their Qualification Documents. Those firms having experience of working in similar coastal environment would be preferred.
Interested parties should submit their Qualification Documents establishing their past/recenl experience, lechnical, financial, legal, and managerial competence to execute ihe project. The submission should, as a minimum, include the following and any other documents demonstrating the firm’s capability and experience of executing large-scale high/mid-rise building projects;
•    Name, Contact Details & Profile of the Firm/ Consortium/ joint Venture
•    Legal Status (Partnership, Private Limited, Joint Venture) & Organizational Structure
•    Updated Certificate of Reglstrauon with Pakistan Engineering Council as ‘Category C-A (No Limit)
Details of the similar local/International Projects completed in the past including construction area, project COS I, scope of contract, completion time, completion certificates, and photographs
•    Details of the similar Local/International Projects in-hand including construction
area, project cost, scope of contract, target completion date, and project photographs Details of the Capability of handling Civil, Structural, MEP, Finishing $ Infrastructure Works
List of Permanent Professional Staff for Construction along with CVs of Directors & Core Staff
•    Details of Plants. Machinery & Equipment for Construction owned/leased by the Firm/Consortiu m
Financial Standing of the Firm/Consortium supported by last 3 years Audited Annual Reports
•    Banker’s Certificates regarding creditworthiness & available credit lines to the Firm/Consortium
Income Tax Registration Number (NTN) along with Income Tax Returns of last 3 years
Turnover of the Firm/Consortium of Projects Handled during last 3 years
IX’tails of History of Litigation and Arbitration Proceedings, if any
Affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper confirming no-blacklisting and no-bankruptcy
•    Any other information in support of capability and experience of the Firm/Consortium
interested parties may submit two copies of Pre-qualification Applications in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Creek View & Terraces – Pre qualification of Main Building Works Contractors” to the undersigned on or before 12th December 2011.
CDPL reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications at any stage without assigning any reason thereof.
