GDA seeks action against 38 illegal housing schemes
Gujranwala (Wednesday, August 8, 2012) – Gujranwala Development Authority (GDA) filed complaints against 38 illegal housing projects and recommended to the District administration to take stern action against the projects.

According to the GDA spokesman, the authority had asked the district administration to cancel the sale deeds of these Gujranwala housing projects which neither had been approved nor housed any civic facility like roads, electricity, gas, water and sewerage etc.
Moreover, the GDA spokesperson said that the land mafia was selling plots at these housing projects without any legal right, ignoring the constant warnings of the authority. The owners of these projects ruin public interests and mafia members disappear soon after selling land without any facility and legal cover”, he pointed out.
