Illegal housing schemes in Lahore, LDA started operation

Lahore (June 12, 2012)  – Lahore Development Authority Metropolitan Planning Wings staff launched an operation against illegal housing schemes on Monday
They demolished the entrance gates and sealed site offices of four housing schemes along Ferozepur Road, namely:

Gulberg Park Housing Scheme, Suai Aasal Road

Green Cap Housing Scheme, Kahna Nau

Roshan Town, Kahna

Vital Homes Housing Scheme adjacent to Pak Arab Housing Scheme

This action has been taken for the awareness of general public so that they will not purchase any plot in the illegal housing schemes.
Meanwhile, on joining LDA in pursuance of Government of the Punjab (S&GAD) Notification Muhammad Usman (PAS/BS-18) has been posted as Additional Director General (Housing), LDA relieving Irfan Ali Bhatti, who has been transferred and posted as Technical Advisor to Director General, LDA. Meanwhile, Abdul Razzaq, Deputy Director (Engineering) LDA presently working as Director EME, LDA has been entrusted with the additional charge of the post of Deputy Director (EME), LDA and Other Sponsors.
