KPK Govt Will Build Two New Cities in The Province – MoU Signed With FWO

Today chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) has signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with F.W.O. According to contract two new cities will be developed on Motorway M1 and Peshawar. CM KPK Mr. Pervaiz Khattak signed on the accord. This news report has been published in the online edition of Express Tribune Pakistan. Details of two new cities are as under:

  2. Model Town Peshawar

CPEC City On Motorway M1 Peshawar-Islamabad

This city will be built near the Kernal Sher Khan Interchange. This interchange is located on the M1 motorway Leading from Peshawar to Islamabad/Rawalpindi. Short statistics are as follows:-

  • Total Cost = 4.4 billions Rupees
  • Residential Plots = 62000
  • Area of land = 80000 Kanals

Model Town Peshawar

This city will be built in Peshawar city. The name of this new city will be “Peshawar Model City”. Short statistics are as follows:-

 

  • Total Cost = 4.6 billions Rupees
  • Residential Plots = 81000
  • Area of land = 108000 Kanals

  1. These two new cities will proide housing againt shortfall of 12 lacs houses in the country and provide millons jobs in housing sector.
