LDA Avenue 1 Housing Scheme Raiwind Road Lahore

Lahore (Friday, August 31, 2012) – Lahore Development Authority (LDA) launch LDA Avenue-l Housing Scheme exclusively for Government Servants of all Grades and invited applications from all over Pakistan in the year 2002.It was vastly advertised through media and plots of 1-Kanal and 10-Marlas were allotted to all applicants through an open balloting.Initially provisional price of 1-Kanal plot was fixed as Rs.5,40,000/- and Rs. 2,70,000/ for 10-Marlas. Allotment letters were issued to allottees. The cost of plots was enhanced due to increase in development cost. An additional Rs.3,24,00/- were received in six equal quarterly installment of Rs. 54,000/- each from the allottees of one Kanal plot and Rs. 1,62,000/- for ten Marla plot also in six equal quarterly installments of Rs.27,000/- each.

Land Acquisition Collector, LDA , acquired about Rs. 16,000/- Kanals land for LDA Avenue-I Housing Scheme under land Acquisition Act 1894. It is imperative to mention here that out of total acquired land about 20% land is under litigation in Civil Courts and High Courts. Director Legal LDA is vigorously following-up the cases in Civil Courts and High Courts. However Metropolitan Planner has earmarked/reserved some plots in case LDA fails in litigation.

  1. I am an original allottee of one kanal plot in block D LDA Avenue 1 .Plot no is 1479 which is under litigation.Two ballottings has so far been done.unfotunately I could not find my name in these ballotting .let some one told me the latest development of LDA in such litigation cases.

When I visit on site, there is not even a single house there. Any idea when there is a perfect time to start construction there? What about electricity and water? Any idea about security?

    Aoa to everyone,

    Please make a list of emails who are affected and then we can make one one voice. No one is coming to solve our problem and we have to do something practically rather only discussions. It is not a bad idea to go to the court and see what we can do. Please don’t be disappointed and proceed. Minimum we would be able to put some pressure on the LDA.     If some one has a list of affected people the include my name is always. I’m just wondering still why we are not one page. We know that thousands of the plots have been won by the LDA and we didn’t receive any response about our plots.

    If some one has any update please post it and I would request Syed Zahid and any member who has a list please arrange an advocate and we are ready to contribute. I would suggest we can doddle it and vote that if they want o go to the court. If we are successful to get reasonable numbers then we will arrange a meeting to collect the money of some percentage of fee of a lawyer which will be given to lawyer by the people which we select as our representatives.

    First of all,please accept heartfelt condolences from me about your wife. I and many others like you are fully with you in this difficult time, i am also one of Ldaavenue 1, C block 10 marla allot-tee since 2003 and until now without any possession letter and any genuine offer from any one so far besides i have also fully paid all dues including additional development charges,So far i have received only few below market offers from some exploiting dealers. Moreover, i have always been fed by news about litigated areas and no solution with LDA authorities etc..I had recently visited ldaavenue in August 2014 and learnt that about two thousand plus plots of various sizes which were under litigation in the past have been won by Lda authorities and computerized re balloting is being planned by ldaavenue1 authorities in near future.The exact date or time frame for re-balloting and retrieved plots numbers can be further verified from Lda authorities Johar Town Lahore.     I m a retd civil servant.My late wife n myself were alloted one k plot each bearing No 658k n 852A respectively in LDA Ave 1.LDA informed many years ago that these r under litigation n we may not pay enhanced price for the time being.
    Since then LDA is maintaining mysterious silence over the issue.In the meantime my wife died in 2007 when she was stiil on job.I too retired in 2007 but nothing is heard from LDA on the progress of litigation except a letter dated 7 july 2014 in R/o plot No 852 A wherein it is intimated that many cases have been decided by the court in favour of LDA n that I should pay the enhanced cost within six months of the above letter.It is further advised that I may b aware of the fraudulent elements who may try to buy the plot at below market price by showing it under litigation.
    This is pathetic story like so many others who have either died OR on the verge of their path to NEXT world.I dont know when DG LDA or KHADM e ALA will wake up to save the affectees.ARE THEY WAITING FOR ANY DHARNA BY THE AFFECTEES like IMRAN KHAN n Molana Tahirul Qadri who have enough street power to press their demands emanating from delays in the decision of Election Petitions n registeration of just an FIR.
    Kindly help me if any one can rid of the litigation process in my life time Or OPEN the EYES n EARS of KHAME ALA to come to the rescue of helpless people like us.I m ready to join any FORUM or DHARNA in this regard.

  18. my plot is 530 b can any one tell me that it is under ligatiton or clear because the looters of pubjab govt are not interested in answering they have taken their share and now not interseted the have done faurd with retireds officers and i wish to allah that they are destoryed even the punjab chief minister is not interseted

        in fact there are thousands of other government employees who are the victims of these plunderers..the Punjab Government. There is no such a big deal to resolve this decades old issue if the chief Minister of Punjab really wants to solve this.but why he should do this,he cant have any political benefit out of this …wah Khadim Aala sahib the real face….Forget the justice of Pakistani Courts…Justice delayed is Justice denied. LDA authority and chief Minister of Punjab if desired can offer other alternate land to resolve the issue to either party. I think we can refer this Cheating and dishonesty case to only Allah Almighty because he is the sole listener. Good luck

PLS FIND OUT A WAY TOCOLLECT ALL EFFECTIES ON ONE PAPER AND START THIS STRUGLE WHITHOUT DELAY.PLS ALSO INTIMATE WEATHER LDA HAS ANNOUNCED A POLICY TO RETURN THE AMOUNT WITH 5% INCREASE.

  30. We should file complaint to Ombudsman Punjab for replacement of plots under litigation. What do you people suggest?

  31. I have a plot in LDA AVE 1, Block B. It was transferred in 2007and is fully paid. Please inform me with progress because I am retired and wants to build my house. Please let me know if the development is complete and plot is ready for possession.

  32. Well gentleman this is the story of those people who have very little say in the Republic of the pure,yes i am talking about the government servants of
    Pakistan.The LDA launched a housing society by the name of Ldaavenue one in 2002.They collected money from the successful allottees in the form of
    installements which were regularly paid.After a while the LDA declared that
    many of the plots came under litigation and the cases are in the court and such plot holders cannot sell their files.Now it is 11 years since this scheme was launched and the LDA still says that the cases are in the courts and cannot do anything about it.Now the affected allottees are almost retired or on the verge of retirement and this is the time that they require their hard earned money all the more. Will Khadim-e-alah do some thing in the start of his this tenure which he could not do in his previous tenure,or leave the affected allottees to the mercy of LDA staff.
