Prime Minister Imran Khan announced Naya Pakistan Housing Authority for 50 Lac Houses
ISLAMABAD (Wednesday, October 10th, 2018) – Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Imran Khan has launched the Naya Pakistan Housing Project during a special ceremony at Prime Minister’s Office today.
New Housing Authority aims to provide a single window for construction activities to operate and be organised under, said Imran Khan. He added that it would be set up in 90 days and currently a 17-member task force has been constituted to head the project and that he would personally monitor it.
Prime minister of Pakistan said the government would remove obstacles to home ownership and that this would include working with the law ministry to draft legislation to make this possible.
“Our target is to build five million homes in five years. The homes are to be made for the common man, who earns Rs10,000 – 25,000 a month.”
Mr. PM also said that boosting the construction industry would directly solve the country’s unemployment problem.
Prime Minister Mr. Imran ended his speech by reminding the country that challenging times would be over soon.
